FANTASTIC show, as always!
The excitement rose when she finally came on stage. Yes, she did not come on stage until 11:00 PM, even though the tickets read 8:00 PM. However, knowing this, we arrived around 9:30 to get a drink, check out the (very expensive!) merch, and find our seats.
For those two hours, I was definitely in my happy place. The enthusiasm of the crowd and Madonna giving it her all on stage made me feel young again, filled with happiness and empowerment.
She did a lot of songs from Rebel Heart during this tour, mixed with a few of her popular hits from "back in the day." Every number was a spectacle from the costumes to the choreography to her powerful, beautiful voice belting out the lyrics. And while she was backstage changing costumes and taking a break, her dancers performed with a recorded Madonna song playing, keeping the energy high. The show left me with a high.
The stage set-up was fantastic, too. She had a long runway that extended into the audience, almost to the other side of the arena, providing everyone with a great view of her and the show. If you can accept that Madonna will always come on stage very late, then you'll have a fantastic time at her concert.
